These three ski resorts boast gorgeous scenery and action-packed activities—even in the summer months. And, most importantly, it's a few degrees cooler up there.

Mountain biking: Snowbasin features 26 miles of downhill mountain biking with service from the Needles Gondola on Saturdays from 9:30am - 4pm and on Sundays from 9:30 - 5pm.

Wildflower Mini Golf: This 18-hole mini-golf course at the base of the mountain is fun for the whole family, and offers a beautiful backdrop of the Wasatch Mountains.

Blues, Brews & BBQs Outdoor Concert Series: Enjoying a beer, summer weather, and national and local music artists—what could be better than that? Live music rocks Earl’s Lodge Patio on Sundays from June 19th to the end of July.

Mountain-top Brunch: Enjoy an all-you-can-eat brunch with a 8,600' view from the Needles Lodge on Sundays starting June 19.

Hiking: Enjoy summer at Powder Mountain for the chance to see migrating herds of elk and moose, a series of beaver dam ponds, and aspen forests thick with wildlife. There are more than 60 miles of hiking trails winding throughout the valleys and peaks of Summit Powder Mountain!

Mountain biking @ Dirt Mountain: This new lift-accessed bike park is officially open to the public for its inaugural mountain biking season. Two flow trails with adrenaline-pumping single-track tech trails will be accessible from the Hidden Lake Lift. Make sure to stop by Hidden Lake Lodge afterwards for "Tacos, Beer, and Bikes!" Dirt Mountain will operate four days a week from Thursday to Sunday.

Horseback Riding: Under the lead of local rancher Kevin Bongard, Summit Powder Mountain's equestrian excursions offer riding experiences for beginner, intermediate, and advanced riders.

Yoga: Nestled in the pines and aspens at the top of Powder Mountain is Summit Powder Mountain's private mountaintop yoga deck. With views of the sunset and James Peak, you can enjoy highly tailored classes taught by yogis who work in a variety of styles.

Nordic Valley

Hiking and Mountain Biking: Recent exciting improvements to Nordic Valley's mountain have pushed the resort's lift-served operations to the future, but visitors are welcome to hike or bike up to the Nordic Express to enjoy the stunning views of Ogden Valley. We recommend bringing a picnic blanket and enjoying the sunshine (or stunning sunset).
